Toddler Games: How to Become an Animal
Some great toddler games are animal role playing. This will give your little girl insight to many great animals; she will learn everything about them. This is also a great activity for children that have no pets they can still role play and shown about animals that are not in their everyday life.
One of my favorite animal toddler games is the cat. The way they go about themselves is just so carefree. Get into the role playing mode by acting out as a cat, get down on all fours and crawl around. Meow from time to time; explain everything you know about your feline friend like they can jump really high. Pretend to lick your hand while you explain how they clean themselves. Crawl over to bowls laid on the floor that will show where cats get their nutrition from. Acting out and explaining everything you know about a specific animal will help your toddlers understanding, and vocabulary about different types of animals.
Different animals you can use are a lion; how much they like roar. Bear; stand up with your arms out growl, but don’t forget about hibernation and how much food they can consume. Dog; Barking. Horse: whining noise that they make, horse shoes that they need, and constant brushing. Elephant; Use your arm as a truck while you make the elephant noise. The list of animals to use goes on and on, act out which ones you think will bring the most fun to you and your toddler.
Personally to me this is one of the most fun toddler games. My kids can watch me crawl around on all fours being silly, and it just provides them with nonstop laughter. The best part for me is that it is education for them and it will help with their development, and this can also teach them about the body parts for kids. You can have fun and accomplish more this way.
