Technology has paved the way for the future, high school and college students can now take classes and even graduate online. There is even toddler online games available for your little one. Different sites like Cartoon Network and Nick can provide some learning games for kids. These are not the only ones out there are numerous that can adhere to the appropriate age of your child, even toddlers.

Playing toddler online games can do wonders for hand and eye coordination. An example would be a balloon popping game. Your toddler can see the balloon that needs to be popped so he is using his hands to follow through with the task of clicking and popping the balloon. His hands and eyes are working together to reach a fun common goal.

When my Son was 2 years old I started letting him play on the computer with games he would like. Since he was 5 years old he has been able to turn on/off the computer, bring up the Internet and find the address of the website he wants to play games at. This is a great start for small children in a technology driven world. My other son is eighteen months old and I have just recently started showing him the computer. His favorite site right now is the cartoon network.

Another great feature available with toddler online games is videos and movies. Children can actually watch educational shows and cartoons that might not be available on their home T.V.’s. What shocked me when I went to one of these sites is that there are actually infant online games. Most people know that they can find kindergarten and preschool online games, but the infant took me aback!  Parents can find almost everything they are looking for through Google even the educational programs. Taking small steps in the beginning with your toddler online will let them ease into this technology environment that the world is run onto today. This is a very exciting and entertaining way for you little guy to learn and grow developmentally wise.

If you feel it is too soon for your little one to be online try looking into a learning laptop, which will provide a great computer experience without being online!
